Blowdown Tank

McKenna Boiler Blowdown Tanks

Run more efficiently.

McKenna Blowdown Tanks are engineered for the safe removal of scale-causing solids in process steam boilers. Our vented, heavy-duty tanks are constructed in accordance with ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 for a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 150 PSIG @ 400° F. McKenna Blowdown Tanks keep your boiler running efficiently, while also complying with current National Board Rules and Recommendations.

For recurrent blowdown service, a standalone McKenna Boiler Blowdown Tank can be utilized. For continuous or multiple boiler blowdown service, an additional aftercooler is also available. For safety, our blowdown tanks retain enough cooled water from each previous blowdown to allow for lowered temperatures out of the tank outlet.
